I was very sad this past weekend to see my family go. In a flash, they were here and in a flash, they were gone. But it was such a fantastic visit and all the good karma seemed to be with us in terms of great weather, memorable accommodations, and some superb meals!
This last photoset is of our short stay in Canterbury. The Norman Castle was across our hotel and we were a short walking distance to town where streets are pedestrianised. Great for the kids who also seemed to enjoy some retail therapy. Who would have thought? We went into the most well-merchandised, organised, quiet (?!) PRIMARK I have ever been (granted — the only one I have visited briefly is the completely mad, chaotic, Flagship Store on Oxford Street). They stocked up on various bits and bobs including stuff for Halloween. As did the “grown-ups”!
